Welcome to BEES & borrels. By visiting our online store or purchasing products from us, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. OUR PRODUCTS
BEES & borrels offers handcrafted skincare, body care and related products. Because our products are handmade and contain natural ingredients, slight variations in colour, texture, scent and appearance may occur between batches. These natural variations do not necessarily indicate a defect.
Product photographs and descriptions are provided as accurately as reasonably possible. Colours may appear slightly different depending on your device or screen settings.
2. PRODUCT USE AND INGREDIENTS
Please review the product description and ingredient information before using a product, particularly if you have known sensitivities or allergies.
Our products are intended for their stated cosmetic or personal-care use and should be used according to the information provided with the product.
Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR), unless otherwise stated.
Payment must be completed using one of the payment methods available at checkout. An order is not considered successfully placed until the checkout process has been completed.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing, description or technical errors. Where an error affects an order already placed, we will contact you where necessary before proceeding.
4. ORDERS
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, there has been an obvious pricing or technical error, payment cannot be verified, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, any amount due to you will be refunded using the appropriate payment method.
5. AVAILABILITY
Products are subject to availability. As our products are handmade, stock levels may vary.
Adding a product to your cart does not guarantee availability until the order has been successfully completed.
6. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery are subject to our Shipping Policy.
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information when placing an order. Please contact us as soon as possible if you notice an error in your delivery information.
Delivery times provided on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise.
7. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and applicable South African law.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The BEES & borrels name, branding, logos, original illustrations, photographs, product names, website content and other original materials belonging to BEES & borrels may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without our prior permission, except where permitted by law.
9. WEBSITE USE
You may not use our website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the website.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Certain parts of our store, including payment processing, delivery integrations or other functionality, may be provided by third-party service providers. Their own terms and privacy practices may apply when you use those services.
11. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or other applicable South African law.
To the extent permitted by law, BEES & borrels will not be responsible for losses arising from misuse of a product or use contrary to the product information or instructions supplied.

We may update these Terms of Service when reasonably necessary. The version published on our website will apply from its stated effective date, subject to applicable law.
